The 2019 Ranger is offered in three trim levels; XL, XLT and Lariat. Each trim is available in two body styles, either an extended cab with a 6-foot bed, or a crew cab with a 5-foot bed. The FX4 Off-Road Package includes a locking rear axle, skid plates, off road tires, and Trail Control, which provides a low-speed cruise control for off-road. A Chrome Appearance Package provides chrome exterior accents, while a Sport Appearance Package adds body colored accents. A Trailer Tow Package provides a Class IV hitch and 4-pin and 7-pin wiring harness.

Safety features in the new Ranger are comprehensive, with standard forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking. A suite of airbags, passive anti-theft system and daytime running lights are also standard. The XLT and Lariat trims feature Ford's Co-Pilot360 driver assist package, which includes blind spot monitoring, auto high-beam headlights, cross-traffic alert, trailer tow monitoring and lane keeping assist.
